About the position
Do you want to apply cutting-edge economics, finance, and policy skills to the big problems facing New Zealand and the world? Can you marshall evidence and logic to answer questions like:
- What should governments do about climate change?
- How can we ensure energy security?
- When should competitors be allowed to merge?
- How can public-private partnerships help rebuild our infrastructure?
Can you communicate the answers in clear, compelling language? Do you like to work hard, pushing yourself to achieve excellence? Can you manage client-facing advisory projects, or would you like to learn how? Do you have relevant or transferable experience, great grades in a relevant degree, integrity, confidence, and a passion for teamwork?
If so, Castalia wants you as a Graduate Analyst in our Wellington-based team (there is an option to move to Auckland once well-established in the role). Working on international and New Zealand-based projects with colleagues in our Sydney, Washington, Paris, and Bogotá offices, you can be part of a high-performing multi-disciplinary group solving genuinely important problems. Our clients include development agencies like the World Bank, major infrastructure investors, Government policy makers and regulators.
Pay is competitive with the market and depends on your own skills and experience.
