His work has included scoping investment opportunities across the Pacific, corporate strategy reviews, the economic evaluation of regulation and sector restructuring. Dylan is the economic advisor for the Postal Industry Access Committee.
Dylan entered consulting after a career in corporate management and central government policy formulation. Dylan has led functions such as pricing, market research, regulatory pricing and modelling, management accounting information systems, forecasting and new business case development for large network industries. He has been an advisor within central government in many sectors including Health, Fisheries, Business law, Gambling, Local Government and Environmental Regulation.
Dylan uses the tools of economics to answer real world questions and problems. He is concerned with developing regulation that works, at least cost, particularly in environmental regulation. Dylan is also highly engaged with the strategic direction of government assistance to developing countries especially in the Pacific.
