She has experience assessing the financial performance and operating efficiency of utilities and developing strategies to improve their performance. She also has experience evaluating and prioritizing infrastructure projects, and advising sector regulators on performance and monitoring standards.
Prior to joining Castalia, Laura worked in the Public Affairs Section in the U.S. Embassy in Peru. She also worked at COGA, a natural gas company in Lima, where she helped oversee documentation for a pipeline expansion project.
Being from Peru, Laura is motivated by solving challenges related to service provision in developing countries. She also enjoys seeking opportunities for continuous learning, which is why she loves the work she does. It always offers the opportunity to learn something new.
