He has a broad understanding of developing and managing infrastructure, having worked in government, Big4 infrastructure advisory, and the G20s Global Infrastructure Hub. Steven has specific expertise in the energy, water, ports and airport sectors. His major achievements include advising the NSW Government on the successful privatisation of the Port of Newcastle, and the development of Global Infrastructure Outlook, a market leading tool that forecasts infrastructure investment needs.
Steven is passionate about end-user engagement in infrastructure, helping the broader community provide a voice on how infrastructure services should be delivered.

Where do you find inspiration?
I am inspired by other people’s stories. Often their perspective of problems, and how they overcame them, can provide inspiration in your own life
What’s one thing you think every person should experience in their lifetime?
Travelling by yourself. It’s incredibly liberating, and you learn a tremendous amount about yourself and the world
What has been your favourite place that you’ve travelled to?
I always love travelling back to China. The pace of development is amazing, and understanding the local solutions to everyday problems is inspiring and thought provoking
