Yulian is an analyst at Castalia with expertise in urban economics and international development.

She enjoys diving into sector issues, analyzing binding constraints, and devising actionable solutions for developing economies.

Before joining Castalia, Yulian studied Economics and Business Management at Babson College, where she studied abroad in Ghana for a semester to learn more about African development. Then, Yulian studied International Development and African Studies at the Johns Hopkins School of Advanced International Studies (SAIS). While at SAIS, she served as a graduate consultant for the World Bank, where she worked on mobilizing finance for women entrepreneurs of small-to-medium enterprises and conducted a field trip to Jordan.

Yulian is passionate about infrastructure development and is particularly interested in innovative finance, such as blended finance and carbon credits, to make infrastructure projects viable.
