Infrastructure and markets for social services
Governments increasingly turn to the private sector to help deliver education, housing, healthcare and other social services.
We develop innovative ways to engage private sector capital and expertise in the provision of social services. Governments around the world are facing the need to improve health services, look after ageing populations, and equip people with the training and skills they need to do their jobs. Since ongoing services are the greatest cost (not the built infrastructure), private sector delivery of social infrastructure is increasingly focused on the achievement of public service objectives that can be delivered from infrastructure—rather than the infrastructure itself. Castalia develops innovative models to deliver social services effectively, and helps private partners appraise such opportunities.
