Castalia conducts NDC Roadmap and Investment Plan workshop in Tonga

On May 27, Castalia led an inception workshop to accelerate Tonga’s Nationally Determined Contributions (NDCs) toward global emissions mitigation efforts. For this task, we developed an implementation roadmap and investment plan (including project pipeline)  for mitigation actions in the Agriculture, Forestry, Other Land Use,  waste sectors, and adaptation actions in the marine protected areas sector. The implementation roadmap and investment plan set out practical steps and tangible projects that achieve the country’s NDC goals. These documents also seek to increase interest from potential partners, including donors and private investors.

The workshop was held at the Department of Climate Change and had as partners the GGGI and the Mitigation Division.
