Paula’s work focuses on helping public and private sector clients develop renewable energies in developing countries.
She is skilled in finance and international business with expertise in developing business models to scale up distributed energy in African markets.
Paula is also experienced with the lifecycle of privately financed infrastructure and helped develop the World Bank’s PPP Gender Toolkit. She researched best practices and tools to apply a gender lens to Public-Private Partnerships.
She strives to learn more about the provision of clean, affordable energy to developing countries. She enjoys the dynamic nature of consulting and learning about different countries and sectors through the projects she is involved in.

What are your hobbies or interests?
I am really into theater. I am part of an amateur theater group, and we are currently working on a play. I love the collaborative and playful environment that theater fosters. I need to get better at learning my lines, though
Who inspires you the most and why?
Phoebe Waller-Bridge. She is a female comedian, waiter, actress, and producer. There are not enough job titles to accurately describe her. Her courage, her oriniality, and her honesty in her writing are pure gold. She makes me feel seen and encourages me to be my true self no matter what
If you could live in a book, TV show, or movie, what would it be?
HBO’s Westworld for sure. But I would want to be a host in Season 3. Probably Dolores’ sidekick
