David is a natural resource economist with expertise spanning climate change, energy, water, agriculture, ecosystems, and public policy.

David brings a critical multidisciplinary perspective to development strategies in the public and private sectors.

He has worked on policy coherence for sustainable development, disaster impact assessment, nature-based solutions, and land use strategy at the OECD, Landcare Research, the Environmental Defense Society, and the Cambridge Center for Science and Policy. At Castalia, David has led work on climate finance and disaster resilience strategies for major development banks, and NDC enhancement and implementation for several countries in the Pacific.

David strives to help clients and communities meet their immediate aims while adhering to our most important global goals.
