Isabela is an Analyst in Castalia's Water Practice. With expertise in environmental economics research, sustainability, and climate adaptation, her multidisciplinary knowledge allows her to tackle complex water-related challenges.
Before joining Castalia, Isabela earned her bachelor’s degree in economics at the University of Notre Dame and worked as an intern in the Global Food and Water Security program at the Center for Strategic and International Studies.
Isabela is motivated to find data-driven solutions to water challenges at the intersection of development, natural resource preservation and climate adaptation.

What are your hobbies or interests?
Reading, painting, salsa dancing, and baking, and I seize any opportunity I can get to go outside and run or hike
What has been your favorite place that you’ve travelled to?
Definitely Jerusalem. When I studied abroad there, I fell in love with the city, not only for its stunning beauty, but for the amazing mix of cultures, languages, religions, and deep history everywhere you look
If you could have one single super power, what would it be?
Flying
