How we helped

Castalia developed a least-cost electrification plan for Rwanda. To do this, we carried out a geospatial analysis that defined the optimal plan for expanding electricity access. We estimated the financing needed and created an energy investment prospectus to help the Government of Rwanda raise the necessary finance. Finally, we facilitated a workshop where donors pledged US$225 million to support the electrification program.
