Laurie Hervot
Senior Analyst
Laurie is a political, economic, and financial senior analyst in Castalia’s Sustainability Practice.
Her expertise spans assessing the economic and financial viability of energy projects, developing strategies and business models for power utilities, as well as analyzing and defining public policies for promoting private investments in the energy sector.
Laurie started as an intern at Castalia’s DC office after completing her graduate studies, and joined the Paris office as an analyst.
Laurie believes that everyone should have the opportunity to use sustainable electricity—that is beneficial without jeopardizing financial resources, health, and environment. She is passionate about demonstrating to public and private sector stakeholders how they can benefit from sustainable energy solutions, and helping them develop these solutions from conceptual design to implementation.
